2023 United States Mint Set – American Women Quarters, Year Two

The 2023 United States Mint Set continues the modern era of streamlined packaging and high-quality uncirculated business-strike coins from the Philadelphia and Denver Mints. Building on the major transitions introduced in 2022, this set is presented in the Mint’s compact, non-folder packaging format, designed to offer clear visibility of the coins while reducing overall size. According to the official Red Book, the 2023 Mint Set had a mintage of just 171,251 sets, keeping it within the extremely low production levels of recent years.

This release marks the second year of the American Women Quarters Program, represented with ten quarters—five from each mint—honoring: Bessie Coleman, Edith Kanaka‘ole, Eleanor Roosevelt, Jovita Idar, and Maria Tallchief. Each quarter features bold uncirculated detail and clean mintmarks. Alongside the quarters, the set includes uncirculated examples of the 2023 Lincoln Cent, Jefferson Nickel, Roosevelt Dime, Kennedy Half Dollar, and the 2023 Native American Dollar featuring the “Maria Tallchief and American Ballet” reverse design.

Collectors will appreciate the consistent, updated packaging format first introduced in 2022, which replaces the traditional fold-out folders with a reinforced card-and-cellophane layout.
